Why INR is quoted per 100 (and other unit quirks)

NRB does not always quote “per 1 unit of foreign currency.” Indian rupees are commonly listed per 100 INR. Other currencies may use different units.

Our converter divides by the official unit automatically. If you do maths by hand: NPR per 1 foreign = rate ÷ unit.
